6 Recognition Awards

The SUPER Squirrel was given to the Board of Directors as a whole for their summer work in transitioning for the new year.

The We are Proud of You Beaver went to Kristen and Stephen for their work on alumni initiatives and website modernization, respectively.

7 Committee & Position Name Changes

It was discussed throughout the summer that the name "Executive Planning Committee" and "Director" positions do not accurately reflect what the committee does. It is proposed that the name of the committee to "Seminar Planning Committee" and the titles of directors to "Lead".

9 Reports from Committees

- Registration: 330 packages are ready to go out to schools. At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee members stuffed the envelopes and prepared them for mailing. Electronic registration and website updates being finalized.

10 Alumni Committee Update

The alumni retreat was very successful and everyone had a blast who attended.

Niagara intends on holding a PLAY Day. Planning is in the works.

Hamilton is organizing a mirror run of the Scotiabank for the same date and time.

Kristen went over the alumni representatives and discussed different platforms to engage and plan with the alumni. Trial run happening with the Slack app.

Club emails will be removed for not being in use and redistributed for new Lead accounts.

Some instagram accounts are being used more than others. Everyone encouraged to login and post pictures of their local events.

Niagara club considering selling chocolate bars as a fundraiser.

11 Alumni Representatives

Kristen and Natalie explained the roles and differences club representatives and planning committee representatives. Everyone can take part in both and work on specific committees for seminar planning.

12 Open Discussion

Saveena provided a possible Milton meeting location. Natalie can get in Toronto. Stephen can get a space in Niagara. Aleeza provided a location idea in Mississauga.

Kristen is seeking input about junior staff selection criteria. She is to put out a notice to alumni.
